Skagit Bicycle Club's 31th Annual Skagit Spring Classic Bicycle Ride is back better than ever. Riders of all levels are welcome to participate, including ebikes.
The ride is fully supported with a well marked course, SAG vehicles and rest stops sumptuously stocked with homemade cookies and lots of other goodies. After the ride participants will be provided a hot spaghetti dinner and a coupon for a free beverage from Farmstrong Brewery.
Registration will start at 7 am. Everything will be shut down by 4 pm so plan to complete your chosen route within this time frame. There is plenty of free parking. Rest rooms will be availble at the start finish. Showers will be avaiable for participants to clean up after the ride. A hot, delcious spaghetti dinner will be available after the ride. If you want to enjoy a beverage before heading home a coupon for Farmstrong Brewing will be available after the ride.
Course maps will be available at the start or you can download them here. We encourage everyone to download a copy of the map and bring it with you. Check the Skagit Bike Club website a week before the ride to ensure you have the correct route. All routes will be well marked on the pavement the day of the ride.
Bring a bike in good working order, although there will be a mechanic on duty at the start for last minute emergencies. Make sure you a have good fitting, proper bicycle helmet. SAG vehicles will patrol the routes until 4 pm but barring an accident or illness plan on finishing your chosen route under your own power.
With an abundance of caution with COVID in mind, the Skagit Bicycle Club is looking at multiple ways to make this Skagit Spring Classic as safe as possible. But most of all plan on having a great time with a few hundred of your bicycling friends on the beautiful roads of Skagit County!
